Conversations with Other Women

I recently watched indie movie "Conversations with Other Women" on my NetFlix and loved it! Starring Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart, this movie is well directed and very well acted, leaving me with a new sense of the art and power of storytelling.

Taking place at a wedding reception, a man and women engage in conversation about life and past love--all with the screen split in two halves showing both characters of the story and even footage of their topic of conversation. Witty banter and truthful remarks make the audience realize that these two individuals actually share a history, and what ensues is a full night of conversation. Regrets, sorrows, heartbreak and reality are all portrayed through the acting of Bonham Carter and Eckhart, leaving me in awe of how poetic and powerful a simple night can be for two individuals. The purity of their conversation with each other portrays a larger image of the amount of baggage past relationships can cause on people. All in all, if you're looking for an easy, stress-free movie similiar to "Closer" (Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, Clive Owens), then definitly check out this movie on NetFlix!
