Current Spring Obsessions

The shopaholic in me is crying. Ever since going freelance, I've been more careful of my budget and what I shouldn't be buying everyday. On the bright side, the blogger in me is squealing in joy from all of the pretty and fresh spring trends to look forward to and share with my virtual buddies. In an effort to satiate both passions, I've created the following these-are-my-spring-fashion-obsessions-and-I-need-to-hide-my-credit-card-before-I-go-insane board. All of these looks are gorgeous for the spring and are also all under $50! Maybe I'll end up purchasing something off of here as a little treat to myself after all...:)

Where To Buy:

Forever 21 - Ampersand Graphic Sweater - $13.99: Love, love, love this sweater because of the huge typography ampersand! I'm getting really into graphic design and what not, and this would be a perfect hipster addition to my wardrobe (for dirt cheap too!).

H&M - Yellow Purse - $24.95: There's a lot going on with this purse, but that's exactly why I like it. I wear a lot of neutrals and solid colors, so this purse would look great against all black or white.

Prabal Gurung For Target - Floral Crush Print Dress - $49.99: Ok, maybe I lied. I don't always wear a lot of neutrals. I do love me some funky prints - florals, cheetah, aztec, stripes, et cetera. Everyone's been talking about the Prabal Gurung collection at Target, and I have yet to go check out the fabulous pieces in person. This dress screams "Melissa keep twirling!"

Dorothy Perkins - Mint Tulip Scarf - $21.00: This is another great floral print in a beautiful scarf that would look lovely with some jeans, neutral shirt and blazer. No really, I already have exactly the outfit in mind for this scarf. Eeek!

LC Lauren Conrad - Ballet Flats - $32.99: There's really no point in me adding gorgeous heels onto boards like these because they're just collecting dust in my closet. Flats rule my life! These light coral flats look comfy as sh*t, and don't look like the typical boring flat. The scalloped edges and eyelet pattern are superbly cute and need to be chilling in my wardrobe asap.
