So by the constant question I keep hearing from my family members and friends asking where I am, I think I've realized how elusive I really am. Celeste and I got our hands on a fantastic project this week (hence the disappearing act), and we've utilized the power of video with Joshua for the first time as a team. The final product is going to be awesome (editing it as we speak), and I'm really looking forward to adding videography to our repertoire of services over at our newly rebranded (and LLC'd) freelance business, Veritas Creative Studio.
We'll be launching this newly named business soon with a very minimal, but clean website to showcase how we can provide you with digital solutions true to your brand. There have been a lot of ups and downs with starting this business (and I know there are more to come), but sometimes you just have to put your foot down and really go for it. Take the leap of faith, start, and the rest will follow.
We finally put in our paperwork to become a legal business and LLC, which is really going to push us to become more serious with our work. I owe a lot of this fast-forward thinking to the recent Bar Napkin Brainstorm workshop I attended in NYC. I was surrounded by tons of successful, creative minds in one room and I got just the right amount of inspiration and motivation I needed to refresh, refocus, and rethink my visions, goals, and ideas. I'll have to write up another recap from the event because the information I learned there was priceless, so stay tuned.
Anyway, it's getting late and I need to finish this project and video! Like I said, I can't wait to show you all the final product woohoo. Over and out!
