Straight Chillin'

Currently: sitting at Le Pain Quotidien in SoHo looking for apartment/sublet leads in NYC, responding back to emails, finishing up Fearless Conference to-do's and thinking about a lot of stuff. Mercury hit me hard last month with all of my sites being hacked (eff you Serbian hackers!), losing a big client, and just the everyday entrepreneur/freelancer struggles. Not all bad though because Fearless went amazing. It was worth every ounce of stress and pressure I felt. I always get in this weird comatose state after a big event or landing some press. So if any of you expected me to be more excited or something, accept my apologies. I just don't like letting things get to my head too much. I also don't take myself too seriously. I'm also very awkward with compliments. Great combo right? Anyway, I'm ready for a big change. I'm finally ready. After teasing my social media with one-way ticket announcements and statuses about being accepted to global travel programs, I'm finally ready to move. My lease is over at the end of this month, but more importantly my mindset is ready for an update/upgrade. The best part of it is that I'm soooo ready to just hustle and grind my ass off. If that means continuing my freelance work and getting a part-time job in NYC, then I'll do it. If I get a full-time job with the right company here, even better. I'm ready to build up my network even more in NYC, and I'm ready to move here with my feet running (or whatever that saying is). Like Weezy once said, real G's move in silence like lasagna. So I'm not really being silent about my move, but I felt like putting in a rap lyric here. It's been so long since I've blogged, but I feel a little revival coming back. Until then, wish me luck as I take the next step in my life. xoxo Oh yeah, also big big thank you to my friend Chris for fixing my digital headquarters. You are the real MVP!
