Thinking of a master plan...

Thinking of a Master Plan I'm beginning to think more long-term these days. From design to shopping for clothes to... pretty much everything! I've always been the type of person to do something for the "now" rather than for the "now and later and forever." But with the notion of being my own boss and starting my own businesses becoming more and more of a reality, I've realized that thinking long-term is the only way to stay long-term. I've been bringing out my big 'ole thinking notebook a lot lately and really listing long-term goals for my business, my personal life, Femme & Fortune, etc. etc. I actually created a manifesto last night for Femme & Fortune that I thought I'd share (mind you, this is a rough draft but a pretty good draft if I say so myself haha):

At Femme & Fortune, we...
...recognize fearless and creative females of all backgrounds and industries
...promote the independence and growth of every woman through the power of free speech
...share our love for Philadelphia by highlighting the city's best people and places
...and provide an interactive and relevant community for all women in the pursuit of happiness and success

What do you think? It's a good start right? Part of my long term goal is to really make Femme & Fortune a community for women to speak freely, educate one another and network with each other. It's funny because unlike most companies or businesses, I'm creating my master plan for F&F based off of the audience it's attracted, instead of the audience I initially wanted to attract. I like how the current tone and behaviors of my readers is molding the site, and in a way, that's how it should be.

Anyway, I'm going to go back to brainstorming some "long-term" goals and ideas, but I thought I'd update all you loyal RingTheAlamers out there. Above is a little collage of my Instagram life, which we all know is the best place to catch up with someone haha. Follow me! I promise there won't be too many annoying photos on there...sike!
